Suggested Activities

  1. Start the lesson by using the slides provided to learn about different types of careers related to space
  2. Do a matching exercise between skills and jobs
  3. Watch short video clips from ESA about different careers and ask students to count how many they see
  4. Have a class discussion on which jobs interested them the most, what skills they already have that can be useful here and what other skills they would like to learn
  5. Continue with the slides for the role models
  6. Conclude the lesson with a creative activity – what a future job in space could look like with either drawing or writing short descriptions
