Guide to resources:
The videos below can be used to initiate the discussion on how space-based technologies, such as satellites, have helped to change and improve the way we communicate with each other. They can be played in their entirety or the most relevant snippets can be used. The teacher can create a listening activity based on the videos or a speaking activity, prior to the writing activity proposed in the resources provided on Spazju.eu.

Suggested accompanying tasks:
- While watching the video, students list as many means of communication as they can
- While watching the video, students group the means of communication into those which they use and those which they don’t / those used nowadays and those used more in the past
- After watching the video, there can be a discussion about the above

Suggested accompanying tasks:
Since the video is quite long, it might not be ideal to watch in its entirety during the lesson, unless the intention is to use it as the main learning segment (replacing some other activity).
However, it provides some useful information on the topic. Therefore, it could be adapted into a listening / reading comprehension activity by the teacher.
