Examples may include University of Malta researchers, pilots, sailors or fishermen, meteorologists, telecommunications technicians and emergency teams.

Start the lesson by showing pupils pictures of different jobs in Malta, such as a pilot, sailor or fisherman, meteorologist, researcher, telecommunications technician, or emergency worker. Ask pupils what these workers do and where they may have seen them.
Introduce the idea that some jobs in Malta use space technology in their everyday work. Use simple examples from the slide deck, such as GPS for navigation, satellites for communication, and satellite images or weather data for forecasting and safety.
Give pupils the jobs mix and match paper handout. In pairs or small groups, ask them to match each job to the correct space-related tool or technology.
Go through the answers together and discuss each match as a class. Encourage pupils to explain how the technology helps the worker do their job.
As a short follow-up task, ask pupils to choose one job and complete a sentence such as: “A ______ uses ______ to help with their work.
